Adaptive Workshop on Research Data Management in Learning Analytics

Publication of research data contributes to scientific integrity and promotes replicability and transparency of research. Although these and other benefits of sharing and re-using data are well known, learning analytics data is still strongly withheld. To get to the bottom of this problem, and to find appropriate solutions, I am investigating the barriers to publishing research data as part of my PhD research.

In the adaptive workshop on Research Data Management in Learning Analytics, I would like to work with you to get a comprehensive picture of your concrete experiences with the publication of research data and at the same time provide you with possible solutions and useful tools. At the workshop, you will gain knowledge around the research data lifecycle, accompanied by practical exercises. Through your participation, you will directly influence the design of practical solutions to increase the publication rate of research data in your discipline.

The workshops are aimed at researchers in the field of Learning Analytics in China, India and Peru who have not yet published their research data but are interested in doing so.
