Michael Seadle will speak on a panel at the ALISE Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.

About the conference:

"The 2019 ALISE Annual Conference theme is Exploring Learning in a Global Information Context. We hope to reiterate that education for library and information science (LIS) is truly a global enterprise.

All around the world, future information professionals are exploring a diverse range of topics in the LIS field. Our focus on teaching and learning must account for this global context. How are our colleagues around the world wrestling with the challenges that we face in LIS? Are there lessons we can learn from each other?

The 2019 ALISE conference is intended to encourage engagement across the globe from those in library and information science, as well as those in a wide variety of cognate fields who wish to share their vision for education, for teaching and learning, for pedagogy, and for research through an international lens.

The 2019 ALISE conference will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, a gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The city is known for the research-intensive University of Tennessee and boasts a thriving arts community and downtown district.

Check back frequently for more information and updates regarding the 2019 ALISE conference. We hope to see you in Knoxville for a dynamic and engaging meeting." (ALISE 2019 Conference)
