Research data is part of a digitisation process in science that challenges aspects of scientific work such as reproducibility, reusability or sustainability. The professional management of digital research data is an essential prerequisite for effective and excellent research. The participants of the webinar receive a general overview of the most important topics along the research data life cycle with tips for an effective work with their data.

Speaker

Katarzyna Biernacka holds a degree in computer science from Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin, Germany. Her strong interest in digital tools and the new forms of learning shaped her research interest. In the winter of 2015/2016 she joined Prof. Pinkwart's research group, where she has been conducting research in the field of mobile information and communication technologies in teaching using the example of Latin America. Since February 2019, she has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Computer Science Department and conducts research in the field of publication of research data and data privacy.

In addition to her research, Katarzyna, as an advocate of Open Science, offers various workshops on this and related topics.
